Alumni Schools Interviews - Call for Volunteers

The Alumni Schools Committee is the most popular, invigorating, and low-cost way for alumni to support Princeton - presenting the University favorably to prospective students, informing the Admission office through perceptive interviews and reports, and helping to win those admitted for the "best new place of all." With the mission of meeting bright, interesting applicants from your region, the Alumni Schools Committee is open to all alumni - especially those inclined to build for the future in this most personal way.

We expect to receive around 500 Orange County students by the January 1 Regular Decision deadline, so we really need your help to ensure that every applicant receives an interview! We have over 40 interviewers already, but we really need to get well over 100.

If you are interested in interviewing in Orange County East and/or Orange County West, contact:
Orange County East - Amit Lal '88
Orange County West - Ashley Cordell Cook '95

PCOC Board Meeting - January 20
The next meeting of the Princeton Club of OC Board is scheduled for Friday, January 20. The board meetings are open meetings and you are cordially invited and encouraged to attend. The meeting will take place at 12:00 p.m. at Coco's Restaurant in Newport Beach. (900 N. Bristol - Near Corner of Jamboree and Bristol) These meetings are low-key and a great way to meet fellow alums. If you plan to attend, please RSVP to Chris Porter '98.
Princeton University Town Meeting - February 2
Princeton University President Tilghman will be hosting a Town Meeting in Los Angeles on Thursday, February 2 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. featuring Pulitzer Prize winning author Jeffrey Eugenides, Professor of Creative Writing in the Lewis Center for the Arts. Dress is business attire, and orange and balck are encouraged. The event will be held at the Beverly Hills Hotel. For more information, view the invitation. Click here to register online.
PCOC Theater Night - February 25
Join us on Saturday, February 25 for a night at the theater, as the PCOC takes in the play "Elemeno Pea" at the South Coast Repertory in Costa Mesa. The play offers a comedic look at how the absurd wealth of Martha's Vineyard draws a young woman far from her blue-collar upbringing – much to her older sister’s dismay – and makes keen observations about class, family and the choices that shape who we are. Click here for more information. If there is enough interest, we also may meet for dinner at a local restaurant before the performance. RSVP by clicking here if you are interested in attending.
