Documentary Featuring PCOC's Jay Famiglietti *92 Debuts in Orange County
A new documentary film entitled "Last Call at the Oasis" - featuring PCOC member and UC Irvine professor Jay Famiglietti *92 - makes its Orange County debut this weekend. The film deals with the global water crisis and its impacts in the United States, and Jay is included as one of a handful of experts that were interviewed in the movie. "Last Call at the Oasis" is from Participant Media, the same company behind such documentaries as "An Inconvenient Truth," "Food, Inc." and "Waiting for Superman."
The film opens Friday, May 11 at the Edwards University Town Center 6 theaters (4245 Campus Drive, Irvine, CA 92612, 949-854-8818). Don't miss the opportunity to view it in the theater - see it this weekend!
Jay will be part of a question and answer session immediately following the 7:10 p.m. show on Saturday, May 12, and offered to carry on the conversation over cocktails at Britta's Cafe a few doors down from the theater in the University Town Center shopping plaza.
